Kyle has dedicated over 10 years to supporting clubs and youth players while they navigate the college process. During his time working with clubs in California and New York City, his approach has helped place hundreds of players in college programs at every level. His technique has been 100% support based with a focus on ensuring players are making “right fit” decisions through a holistic approach to what college means for families on and off the field.
His passion is helping clubs and their families navigate a sometimes overwhelming process with a personalized approach. Off the field, Kyle spent 15 years as a high school teacher and athletic director and has extensive knowledge of the link between academics and athletics. Most recently Kyle worked with Columbia University. He holds a Master of Arts in Education and is well versed in the academic needs of aspiring college student athletes.
As a coach, Kyle has over 20 years of coaching experience ranging from the youth level through NCAA, NAIA and Junior College programs. He holds a USSF C License, a Director of Coaching Diploma, Advanced National Diploma as well as Sports Psychology and Elite Training certificates through United Soccer Coaches.
Kyle resides in Brooklyn, and when not traveling to work with ALBION's NATIONAL ELITE program he loves spending time at Brooklyn Bridge park. His passion for growing the game and working with young players and coaches excites him about his hands on role with ALBION BROOKLYN.
Wayne Attard's illustrious journey in professional soccer commenced in 1978, as a bright-eyed youth player in Melbourne, Australia, representing Sunshine Heights & Sunshine George Cross. His talent quickly caught the eye of selectors, leading to his inclusion in the State and Australian School Boys teams in 1990. The following year marked his entry into the Victorian State League with Green Gully Ajax.
Remarkably, at just 17 years old, Wayne made his debut for the 1st Team in the National Soccer League Australia with Sunshine George Cross, showcasing his precocious talent on a national stage. By 19, he ventured to Malta, making his mark in the Maltese Premier League with Rabat Ajax before acquiring Maltese citizenship in 1996.
Wayne's career continued to flourish as he traversed the competitive landscape of Maltese soccer, gracing the Premier League stage until 2004, representing esteemed clubs such as B’Kara FC, Sliema, and Hamrun with his skill and dedication.
Wayne's journey in coaching commenced in 2005, igniting a passion that would shape his career trajectory. He began by nurturing young talent with the U5 - U15 teams at Sliema Youth Academy and continued to foster development with the U5 – U14 squads at Zazu Football School. His dedication and expertise led him to assume the role of U19 Assistant Coach at Qormi FC, where he further honed his coaching skills.
Progressing in his coaching career, Wayne ascended to pivotal positions within the realm of Maltese football. He served as the head coach for various teams, including the 1st team, 2nd team, and premier divisions at St Andrews FC. Additionally, he took on the responsibility of guiding and mentoring aspiring players as the U17 - U19 Head Coach and Coach Educator at the Malta Football Association.
Today, Wayne holds the esteemed position of Director of Coaching for boys at ALBION SC Las Vegas, where he continues to inspire and shape the next generation of soccer talents with his wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to the sport.
Coach Dominique Brown grew up in Columbus, Ohio where she started playing youth soccer at the age of 4. She began playing competitively at 7 years old and soccer immediately became a life-changing passion for her. She played on a nationally recognized club team, Ohio PremierSC, received numerous awards in high school including All District and All State awards and received serval offers to continue to compete in college. Coach Brown decided to continue her soccer career at South Carolina State University’s NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Program where she received a full soccer scholarship. During those four years she played as a center midfielder, averaged 82 minutes per game, and was captain of the team for 3 years. She received her Bachelor’s in Political Science and went on to the University of Miami School of Law in 2018.
She is now a practicing attorney in Miami, Florida handling legal malpractice cases. As a coach, she holds a D License, and has worked for South Carolina ODP, Coerver Coaching, and is currently the head coach for the University of Miami Women’s Club Soccer Team. She has been with our club team since 2019 coaching the U-13 and U-14 age groups for girls. She is also the Director of Coaching for our girls program and looks forward to helping our players develop into the best versions of themselves both on and off the field.
Jalen Markey played at all levels of youth soccer. Starting on the Washington ODP team, then making the Region IV ODP team. As a youth, he got the chance to guest play with ALBION SC at a tournament in San Diego. Raised by his mother in Seattle, Washington with his twin sister who also played college soccer, Jalen attended O’Dea High School and played for the Seattle Sounders Academy. In 2012, he earned his first call up to the United States U-18 men’s national team, by 2013 he had been called in to five times camps. Camps included trips abroad to Portugal, Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium. After graduating in 2013, Jalen attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his freshmen winter he was called into the United States U-20 men’s national camp. In 2014, Jalen transferred to Oregon State University, starting in 65 of 67 games played over the four years.
In 2018, Jalen made his professional debut with the Seattle Sounders FC 2, showcasing his skills at the highest level. His journey continued with a transfer to The Miami FC for the 2019 and 2020 seasons, further solidifying his reputation as a formidable force on the field.
Today, Jalen calls Portland home, where he serves as the Boys Director for ALBION SC Portland, imparting his knowledge and passion for the game to the next generation of aspiring soccer stars.
Born and raised in Riverside, Laikyn began her youth soccer career playing club soccer with Riverside MGFM before finishing with Laguna Hills Eclipse Soccer Club. She attended Arlington High School, graduating in 2012, and then played Division II collegiate soccer at Colorado State University-Pueblo, where she earned a B.A. in Social Sciences.
During college, Laikyn coached youth teams at the local club, Pueblo Rangers. After graduation, she returned to Riverside and began coaching with Riverside City Futbol Club (RCFC) in 2019, which later became ALBION SC Riverside.
She Is currently the Girls Varsity Soccer program at her alma mater, Arlington High School, and this year, she began working there as a Special Education math teacher for the Riverside Unified School District (RUSD) along with coaching at ALBION SC Riverside.
In 2024, Laikyn was appointed as the Girls Director for ALBION SC Riverside. Her passion for the game, combined with her commitment to player development, inspires youth to reach their full potential.
Mike Adrian, the Development Director of ALBION Hawaii, oversees the technical development of players aged U4-U11 in the ALBION Juniors Academy. He also establishes a player pathway from the Juniors Academy to the Elite Academy programming. Additionally, Adrian is responsible for creating the curriculum used in the ALBION Keiki Academy, a successful program that introduces soccer fundamentals to children aged 4-6.
Adrian is bringing in video analysis tools to the teams at ALBION Hawaii. This advanced technology is crucial for the ongoing learning and development of both players and coaches within the club.
A student of the game, Adrian has spent time learning about youth player development and video analysis from top professional clubs worldwide. Recent travels have led him to study with top-level directors at FC Barcelona, Valencia CF, Spanish FA, and MLS youth academies in the US.
Adrian lives in Hawaii with his wife, Me-Shell, and son, Rhys.
Garrett Franklin, a Southern California native, played for ALBION SC Academy from 2008 to 2012 before returning in 2018 as part of the coaching staff. Currently holding a UEFA B License, Garrett oversees the ALBION SC Goalkeeping Department and is dedicated to upholding and advancing the club's legacy of excellence.
Garrett played college soccer at Mercer University and previously served as the assistant coach for the USL League 2 team, Ocean City Nor’easters, helping them reach the national semifinals.
Entering his sixth season as a coach at ALBION SC, Garrett leads MLS Next and Elite Academy teams at ALBION San Diego. As a former ALBION player, he is enthusiastic about mentoring the next generation of ALBION talent.
